Things to do in Chicago for 21 year olds? leaving tomorrow!?

  • Hi, 2 of my friends and I are heading to chicago for the weekend. We all know city somewhat well but we haven't been there since we turned 21 (just turned about 1 month ago). We are looking for maybe some cool bars or a club. We are really trying to look for something that caters to people our age rather than like upper 20 year olds. Something pretty friendly and all that. Also, some other ideas for us would be appreciated. I'm sure we will hit up navy pier and the mile but i don't really know much more then that. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks


  • Pretty much every bar up and down Rush and Division.


  • Wrigleyville!! There are SOOO many bars and restaurants there.
    When you're on the red line get off at Addison. Or if you're taking a taxi just ask to go to Addison and Clark.

    Otherwise I would check out Chicago's metromix site to see what's super hopping that particular weekend or what big events are going on.

    Also the Blue line Damen stop is a great area to go explore for 21+ excitement. If you're avoiding the big boys and girl crowd, I would stay out of the loop area, that's mostly people with loads of dollah billz. But if you'd like to explore, check out Rush and State st.


  • Go to Wrigleyville or Lincoln Park. Mo's Cantina is a fun place in Wrigley, and in Lincoln Park I suggest McGee's.
