Stupid Flash question!

  • Ok. This is obviously a stupid flash question! In my flash file here (http://ericradio.no-ip.com/header.swf)
When u rollover one of the menu options it gets blurry, how exactly do I stop that from happening. Also, from what I no the text is embeded and I even tried using pixel fonts and increasing/decreasing size and positions and that didnt even work? Any suggestions? Thanks

  • Bump

  • You could use AS to round the X and Y on enter frame.

  • Make sure it is not on a decimal X or Y pos. Like: 142.8, make it 143 instead.
IF U read my whole post above, u would know I tried that!

  • they're only blurry during the tween. Something you can't help unless you tween it by hand (i.e. every consecutive frame in the animation you move it by 1.0px)

  • It would be easy if you did what I said.

  • Are you talking about the "about" rollover, because as a user I wouldn't even notice it if you hadn't mentioned it. Also, the pixelshift problem flash-matic is talking about has pretty much disappeared with flash 8.

If I were you I wouldn't worry about it, you could increase your framerate or speed up your tween, that would make it even less of a problem.
Really? When I view it on another computer the text like lags... lol, it like has stop time motion :)... I dunno, maybe I should increase the frame rate there... Ill try all the above sugggestions thanks!

Ok, i guess that seems like the only way I can go, dang.. oh well I was hoping it would be a bit easier than that :D

  • Im just trying to help, I read your whole post I just didn't know you meant that, all yousaid was positions.

  • why are you so horrible?
