During two days - from 20 to 21 November - in Novosibirsk will pass international the seminar-conference of the specialists of the countries OF THE CIS "fight with the highly pathogenic influenza of birds and an increase in the readiness for the pandemia of influenza". As on 17 November to correspondent IA regnum they reported in the press center of Naukograda Kol'tsovo, in the seminar will take participation the main sanitary doctor of Russia Gennadi Onishchenko.
Purpose of measure - organizational and procedural guarantee of realization of the solutions of the summit of "large eight" in Saint Petersburg during July 2006 in the region of fight with the infectious diseases. In the work of seminar-conference will participate the key personnel from Russia and countries OF THE CIS, the studies of the viruses of influenza occupied by questions, including bird influenza. On opening of seminar will come out Gennadi Onishchenko with the report "Basic Purposes and Tasks in the Region of Fight with the Infectious Diseases in RF [Russian Federation?] Within the Framework of the Realization of the Initiatives of the Summit" of groups of eight "on the fight with the infectious diseases". The Director-General of the state scientific center of virology and biotechnology "vector" Ilya Drozdov will make a report "National Measures for an Increase in the Readiness for the Pandemia of Influenza".
Conducting seminar-conference is oriented to consideration and decision making by the series of questions, which will determine the contemporary state of epidemiology, epizootiology, diagnostics, treatment and immunoprophylaxis of the virus of the influenza of birds in Russia and other countries OF THE CIS, and also interaction between the countries OF THE CIS according to the problem of influenza. Will be comprised the plan of measures for the international collaboration of profile national it is center the countries OF THE CIS and the leading scientific it is center RF in the region of monitoring influenza, preparation for the pandemia of an influenza, and also questions of coordination of actions concerning special diagnostics of the virus of the influenza of birds and measures for the fight with it.
At the end of the seminar-conference on 21 November its participants will visit FGUN GNTS WB "vector", will complete excursion on Naukogradu Kol'tsovo.
