Need links to find quick bios for a psychological research paper
I am working on a research paper in the field of psychology. I site
several major and many lesser know authors in my paper and need to be
able to give a 1or 2 sentence bio about them. These authors are all
therapists and most have only written 1 book that is clinical or at
least technical in nature and not very popular.
I have tried searching on their names on google and amazon, and find
anywhere from 4-94 references (usually to a book they have written),
but none that answers the question of what orientation they are from
(Jungian, Gestalt, Freudian, Relational, etc).
I desperately need a easy way to find a quick bio of each of these
people that will indicate what physiological orientation they come
from.
thanx in advnce
I would suggest physically going to a library that has the following
title: Biographical dictionary of psychology / edited by Noel
Sheehy, Antony J.Chapman, Wendy A. Conroy. London ; New York :
Routledge, 1997.
Thanks for both of your two ideas. i have found another way to take
care of this need.

Assuming that "several" is a reasonably small number, why don't you
post the names here and let us look for what you need? If it turns
out (as it often does) that a researcher can find responsive
information about some but not all of a list of people, you might then
consider splitting the names up into more than one question.
Finally, if your list is a long one (more than five or six, say), you
might be better off splitting them up into two or more separate,
appropriately priced questions at the outset.
