I'm freaked out by Porcupine Tree is this normal?

  • I heard a song... The Nostalgia Factory...
    I can't bring myself to listen to anymore, because that was CREEPY.


  • LOL, this is MORE than normal. I have a few friends who are completely freaked out by them because of the background voices/clip that PT have softly playing in the background (like the one in Dark Matter that goes "Now you're more relaxed then you ever were all your fears have been wiped away... along with most your personality".

    A lot of PT's easy stuff from On The Sunday of Life, Up the Downstairs, Signify etc. creep people out because it's just so... different.

  • I can't find that one anywhere. After hearing that testimony though I'd love to hear it. I can't get enough of stuff like that. Porcupine Tree is a band I've been getting into just recently. I haven't been blown away this much since I discovered Pink Floyd. Great stuff!
