drag input text field

  • hi all
    i m designing a movie in flash that dynamically generates the text boxes on runtime according to the number written in the external xml file. the end user can drag the text boxes and can set its new location. the problem is when i put the input text box in a movie clip, for dragging purpose, i m unable to enter text within. because when i press the text box its start dragging and the cursor not appears in the trextbox.

  • You can't have the textfield inpputtable and still draggable.

    ALternate solution is to have a 'reposition button' besides the textfield inside the movieclip. By clicking and dragging that button, you should be able to drag the entire movieclip including the textfield to a different position.
