Density of substances?

  • I need to look up the density of the following three substances - (grams per milliliter squared) for my chemistry class. Can anybody give me a URL where I can get my answers?

    Substances

    Water

    Aluminum

    Calcium Carbonate (Marble)

  • density is grams per milliliter (g/mL), not g/mL squared.

    water = 1g/mL, but at different temperatures can change a little
    http://www.simetric.co.uk/si_water.htm

    aluminum = 2.7 g/mL

    CaCo3 = 2.8 g/mL

  • Wikipedia has the densitys for all 3. Note, cm^3 is the same things as mL

  • water: 0.998 g/mL³
    aluminum: 2.70 g/mL³
    calcium carbonate: 2.71 g/mL³
