backdrop color for art

  • i am photographing prints which are mainly white (the paper) with a canon digital rebal xti

    what color should i have behind the piece? black, white, off white

    or does it not make a difference


  • before remarking the paper is white and the ink is black


  • these are silk screened prints remarked with metalic marker and water color

  • How many colors before the noted remarking?

    What colors are they?


  • What kind of art are we talking about, Photographic, drawings, paintings...Ect?

    I work for an art site and see a lot of art work Photos from users who do not have access to scanners.
