Guinea Pig Care?????

  • So, we just took our guinea pigs inside from our outdoor kennel for the winter. And a have a couple of questions.....
At what temperature should a guinea pig be kept at?
Where can I find information on their labor? (links please)

  • you can find out information on lots of animal websites i no this answers not much but what about rspca find outy information on there
    or somthing

  • it should be kept at room temp.

  • The temp sjould be around 70 f and i dont rilly know anything about breeding cuz I never have tried.

  • I have two female guinea pigs who live outdoors all year round. I personally think that they are more healthy when kept outdoors. My eldest was twelve years old when he died, and he died naturally he did have to go to the vets at all in any time of his life. His son just died back in August aged eleven years. As long as their hutch is dry and they have plenty of good hay then they should be perfectly o.k outside.

  • 65-85 degrees F.

  • They should be kept in a bright, draft-free room with a stable temperature range between 65 and 75 degrees F (18 to 24 degrees C), out of direct sunlight and situated close to household activities.

There is a ton of helpful information, including the above quoted text here:

  • It should be at room temperature and keep them above ground to keep them safe from any other pets u have and drafts. a good website for guinea pig care and breeding is http://www.cavyspirit.com/care.htm

    I hope this helped!

  • They should be kept from 70-80 degrees F. You should also keep them in sunlight. hope i helped!
